Another Drying Q, need ideas
Yeah, read the faq, useful but didn't really help with my problem.
It's cold here, there's no possibility of drying outside using the greenhouse or garden shed(s).
So it has to be done indoors, of course it's going to stink, so it needed to be somewhere slightly less obvious. The only real place I can do it is in the loft/attic, I checked the temp up there and it's ~8 degrees Celcius , but may drop a little. It has an airflow, but obviously isn't "breezy", it's also dry, and the humidity is okay since it's used for storage. Problem comes because:
a) It's the only place I can safely attempt to dry them.
b) It's too cold. (?)
c) It might stink it out permanantly. ( I doubt it, but still lol, rather it didn't. )
So I need ideas/advice on how to insulate it, I have a roll of bubble wrap, but not that much, I was thinking about making somekind of "curtains" around the area up there I'm going to use, though I'm concerned about humidity if I use something non-porous like that. Maybe actual curtains would be better? (Cloth, absorb moisture, material "breathes" somewhat and should insulate at least a little. ) I also have a "chest" type thing, which I'd be able to place the buds in, similar to "open drawer" methods of drying I've seen. I'm still concerned about the temperature/moisture if I shut it away though.
Help someone stuck in a sodding cold country dry his green! any advice or ideas welcomed :jointsmile:Akimbo Reviewed by Akimbo on .
