i have been growing two plants for about 7 to 8 weeks now and they are in just starting to smell. When should the be buding? and how long should it take after that before it is ready to be smoked?

Well, thubb22, they should be budding when they see 12 hours of TOTAL darkness / 12 hours light EVERY day.

If they are outside, tha's probably goin' on right now.

Since you ask, though, they're probably inside. That means they won't start budding until you put the lights on a timer, and give them their 12 hours of darkness daily.

After that, depends on what "type" (strain) it is, how "done" you want it, etc.

8-12 weeks, maybe.
Plus 2-4 weeks to "cure," (minimum :thumbsup
