    $1000 Seed Germination

i bought a 10 pack of "Euphoria Unlimited" seeds from bcseeds.com for $1022.

What is the most sucessful way to germinate because i uasally use a wet paper towel in a zip lock or put it in a rapid rooter and put that in a zip lock but i dont want to take any chances because each seed was like $102

what is the most sucessful germination method?

    thanks

I use a high quality aquarium heater in a rectangular tub of water, with the temp @ 78F. Put the beans in a clean plastic container with wet paper towel, container must have a lid. Let the container float in the water. Most beans germ in 2-3 days. I usually have to spray some water into the container everyday until they all germ.

I have always thought they were full of sh*t on that site and renaming other strains and jacking up the prices but hey please do let us know how it goes.

I would rinse them off in a cup of water first with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxied just to reduce any possible fungal/bacteria risk and then germinate them in a clean white paper towel with distilled water with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in it in a warm place out of light. You MUST plant them as soon as the shell cracks and you see the tap root.

Go easy the first 2 weeks of growth, don't over fertilize and in fact don't give them much if any nutes until they have at least 2 or 3 sets of leaves in soil. If in hydro make it 25% strength, General Hydro flora series 3 part in a 1/1/1 ratio works grea with a drop or two of superthrive per gallon.

holy shit thats a record for ten beans in my book...

def use some h2o2 . it wont hurt. at 102 a bean u better lol.

letting darwinism choose a super mother for you might be nice. 1 or 2 500$ mothers to supply you with future super clones.. at least that 1000 will be invested quite well. its not baller status but close

That website reminds me of "JP Marlin" company in Boiler Room. I'm curious now to see what $1K gets you.

I would have said there is no way in hell anyone..... but I would have been wrong again. :angelsmiley:

Brilliant. A double boiler. (Are you a chef, by any chance?)

The water's gonna buffer the thermal irregularities caused by the heater cutting in and out. Provide humidity if ya need it, too.

Why didn't I think of this? :i feel stupid:

I can set the water bath on anything warm (Twins would be ideal! :icon220 and raise it up on little blocks or similar until the temp's perfect. Harvest some wasted thermal energy into a passive bun-warmer.

    Rep to ya!

Not a Chef but I do like to cook, and I learned this trick on another forum.

It works great for hard to crack Sativa beans.
