ok i've got two grows 1st of one plant out of 12 starters and this year 3 out of 5. buth grows were outside 1st one produced .68 lb. all of three this year tottaled .3 lb .
I think that is time for me to try i doors.
Here is what i'm planning.

1. 4 x 4 x 4 box made from plywood split down the center with another peace of plywood. making two 4 x 4 x 2 compartments.
2. 1 400w hps for flowering on the right side. (is this gonna be to close to the plants with my box being only 4' tall?)
3. 2 40w florsent cool white and warm white for veg in the left side.
4. 2 squireel cage blowers 150 cfm (Blower G2E120-CA17) 1 in each side.
5. for air fillter i plan to build a 9x9x9 box with 2 holes 4" each and another 8. I will then cover the holes with wire mesh. place furnace filters on the inside to cover the wire mesh poor in charcole cover that with furnace filter thene the lasdt side goes on. I plan to place this box in the veg side conect the 8" hole to an exoust hole at fllor level. The other hole lead to the blower for the veg room and one will travel through the wall to flower room to that blower. I will then cut a 3" hole in the top of the box on both sides for the in takes. i hope this will be enough ventalation for this 400w hps.
6. i am wanting to grow Aurora Indica http://www./aurora_indica_marijuana_seeds.html.
7. box inside will be covered with Silver Mylar reflective film metallized plastic 4'x50'.
8. plan is to start with 4 seeds place in watter in dark tell crack plant into jiffy pellets grow tell 4 or 5 node or tell nodes grow out of sink (1 month). Take 3 cones from each. 2 of each stay with mommy and the other one goes to flowering. I would think that in 2 weeks i'll see the girls now i know and the men must die.
9. remaining clones go to flower, i figure that this will be 2 months from start plants 1'-1.5', cut more clones from moms to continue cycle. watter feed for 2 months.
10. i will try to maintain temp of 85 huminidty of ?????????????????. i know it should be dryer in flowering but above that lost. 24/7 light in veg with lights 2-4" from plant to keep low and 18"or as close to that as this small box will allow.

Looks pretty good, if everything goes as planned

I would suggest adding another foot or two (if you can) to the vertical height of the box. This will ensure that you won't have heat problems in mid/later flowering, due to the plants growing too close to the 400w hps.

Aurora indica + proper topping/training will be kept low enough so you wouldn't have heat problems related to height (hopefully); if that is the only strain you are growing, you should be fine. But I would still add a foot or two, just to be safe.

im wanting to try hydro but scared so i think im gonna go hafses with a wick system 1' deep 9" diamater pot with about 3" of nut 18 18 21 1-2" air and 6 .5" strips of sock leading to the top of the cactus palm and citrus soil on the veg side and probably 15 30 15 on the flower side. but have considered the drip with .5 drippers going to 4 plants feed from150 gph submerged pump into vermiculite and Perlite.

ok so i switched in mid planning now i will grow misty instead.
1. is the soil media by miracle grow good for drip it is cactus palm and citrus soil?
2. what should my drip rate be?
3. Still wonderin about humidty!
4. nutes i got 20-20-20 for veg and thinking of half strenght when they get first nodes then full when they reach 4-5 node.




Please if you have any good knowlegeable advice please inform.


and i'd still like to keep it at 4' more discouragment of this could change my mind but i want to keep it small.

oh and lighting i'm going with 5 13w 2700k cfl and about 5 100w 6800k cfl in veg/
with 400w hps and 2 20 w 18" florsent 7800k in the flower box

ok things have changer. i have had to go to a bigger box 6'x30"x2'. 4x4x4 just wouldn't cut it to short and 6x4x4 to big for stealth so i got a huge steal closet. (heavy). changed lights to 85 watt cfl and these are 85 watt 6500k.



problem grow area on top right for mom and clones is only 18" tall x 20" x 30" deep.
Plane try to go to 1 month cycle taking clones from mom every 1 month. 4-6 clones instead of the 8 every 2 months. i have 2 flood and drain systems going for flowering. plan to place 4 clones In tank (a) this month. 4 into tank (b) 30 days latter. harvest tank (a) 1 month latter and replace with 4 new clones.

hopefully this constant clipping of mom will enable me to keep her small enough. I really dont want to have another closet for her but i will make it work.

problem it is cold right now with no lights in box 59f hopping 3-4 85w cfl, 3-4 13w cfl 2700k, and 400w hps hung in veg room wich will be right up agianst this floor will worm it up enough ( remember this is steel closet.
problem floor of veg room will be on cement fllor burrrrrr. resavor tanks are 14 gal eack with 10 gal nutes in each.
plan to use 1 fish tank heater in each 10-30 gal heatter in each hopping. but there is no adjusting temp on the heatters.
What temp should i shhot for in ther tanks???????



Started test grow from bag seed in soil on 5 node but somthing happened pics will show any idea??????? I cheacked the ph and said it was short on acid. this could have came freom my attempt to practice with my new chineese ph tester by adding backing soda then lemon juice right after it arived, just 1 day before symtems started.:i feel stupid: Well i flushed the pot out with a gallon of watter, and clipped a little a couple days latter. and today i extracted the pansies of my gf that had previously called this pot home and witch provided good cover for my girl when the cops showed up looking for gf"s daughters runnaway friend!:yippee: No SH$% Stood right over it looked int the 3 pots of pansies with a 400w mh blarring down on the for 18" above with a 4 tall roll of mylar half way wrapped around the . All the light in the world blarring down on the pot plant right in the center. "WELL IF PANSIES ARE ALL YOUR GROWING THATS COOL" Said officer dip sh%&.:S3:

I would throw on an extra foot or 2, cuz you want the light to be about 18" away from the plants, unless its cool-tubed, and even then you don't want the plants TOO close to it.

ya i got that for veg room the 18" frow the hps. I will manage that by hanging the 400w hps from the taller side and tilting it a little. but for mom and clones they will be grown with cfl i should be able to get cfl withen 2-4 inch.
There ain't no more head room. Steel box! I would have to change box or remove upper grow room to diffrent local. 2 boxes ain't stealthy.
