Shiva, the destroyer according to the Hindu religion smokes pot! He intoxicates himself with anything that's available. The reason behind this is: that He is consuming all the poisons in creation so that people, animals or any other living being can enjoy the good things in life. However, some staunch followers of Shiva(like my self) identify ourselves with Him. Because of that we follow in His footsteps and smoke pot and intoxicate ourselves so that the rest of the "innocent" people can have a good time enjoying their share of "honey and spice"
