Okay,
I need help. My husband has been kind of hired by JC Ehrlich Pest company. The problem is he smoked about two and a half weeks before he took the test. Before that he had smoked maybe about 2 months before. He is a very slim guy, high metabolism. Although he has been given a start date of the 16th. They said they have not recieved results from the test yet and that was last week they said that but it's been about 3 weeks already since he took the test? First question is what are his chances of passing and second does Quest really take that long? I thought it was 24 to 72 hours? :wtf:

with his usage as you describe, he would almost certainly pass the test, easily ... Quest would have had the results, almost immediately ... sounds like the pest control company is just blowing you off ... probably not sure if they need another employee, with the economy like it is, and won't give you a straight answer ... just my guess ... keep looking for work, my advice ... good luck :smokin:

Actually, i know they are not blowing him off. He has been made an offer and told what to buy for his uniform including pants and shoes and given a start date but they are still saying that the drug test results have not been recieved.

ok, well it was just a guess ... sure doesn't take this long to get test results ... in the meantime, don't smoke, just in case they LOST the results, and need him to take it again ... good luck :thumbsup:

You are so right, it does not take this long. I am wondering if he failed the initial test and had to be sent to the lab for quantative testing. Plus, i feel like they wouldn't have made him an offer if they hadn't recieved the results but he starts on Thursday and they haven't called to tell him not to come in, so keeping our fingers crossed.

Even if it got sent to the confirmation test it only takes 3 days. My guess is somebody lost his sample and he's going to have to take the test again.

Quest DOES NOT follow you into the restroom...get Urineluck.....works everytime. Myself personally, and 3 of my buds who work for NASA down here had to go through Quest Diagnostic. Easy as hell, dont even worry a little

May not even need it depending on his weight....the larger the person fat wise, the longer it takes to clear your system.

Drop-in additives like the Urineluck wont work on instant-type tests because it takes 90 min to destroy the drug metabolites in the urine sample.
Plus, labs are detecting additives more frequently than ever before. They are detected when the sample gets flagged for excessive nitrites, high chromates, and/or an abnormal pH.

Subbing with the Quick Fix synthetic urine (made by Spectrum Labs, who also makes the Urineluck additive) would be a better bet. If youre brave enough to sneak in an additive, then youre brave enough to sneak in some synthetic urine for a sub. Its actually more easier to sub than fumbling around with additive vials in the bathroom stall.
