Miracle-gro soil
hi all,
why do most growers give mg a downer, i know there are nutes out there that are designed specificly for pot plants , .. but hey guys mg can work wonderfully,
my soil is john innes number 1 for seeds and cuttings, and john innes number 2 or 3 for vegin and flowering, this is a top quality pre prepared soil, i dont feed clones or seedlings they just dont need any feed in this soil, when there large enough they are put into larger pots containing john innes number 2/3 i then give them a real good dose of miricle grow, this is a blue granules that are simply mixed in a watering can i soak each of the pots until it flows freely from the bottom, the waste that comes out the bottom is cought in a deep tray i wont feed again until i have watered at least 2/3 times, i continue to do this up until about 3 weeks from harvest, this is too allow for natraul flushing, it is poss to over feed despite the claims on the packet, i dont have that prob any more as i have learnt my lesson,
i roughly achieve half to one ounce per plant without probs, i love the stuff,
i aint knocking the expensive pre made exclusive to pot nutes that are available but mg will do the job loverly, if done correctly, i too would stand one of my mg grown ladys up against a plant grown with more expensive nutes,
if you have got a factory full of em then yes the expensive nutes will make a difference, but if like me the most your ever likely to grow is 15/20 in a small cubard then i believe mg will work just great,
sorry this is long, i just felt i needed to put my pennys worth in .... peacethe happy chappie Reviewed by the happy chappie on . Miracle-gro soil I know using it on seeds is too much for them but check this out. I buy 6 inch tomato and pepper plants every year and plant them in straight Miracle-gro soil even when the bag says to mix it with reg soil. My plants take off and look great and put out some nice veg. SO what is so wrong with putting a 6 or 9 inch plant that can handle a horti now be put in a mix of soil and miracle-gro and do well? The ferts last 3 months but the miracle-gro food can be used on your plants that have been Rating: 5
