Afghan Kush - 1st Time Grower

Merry Christmas Everybody!

OK...So... Here are some updated pictures of the Afghan Girls...

They are now at the end of ''4 weeks'' Into flower..... They are looking pretty healthy I think.... The larger fan leaves do have some slight yellowing.... but I've read this is to be expected during flowering... am I right?

After the last Flush... I waited 2 days and then fed with nearly full strength nutes..... CANNA A&B (7ml A & 7ml B to 2 Litres water)

A FEW QUESTIONS FOR THE EXPERTS OUT THERE....

I really don't think these girls have very big Buds at all for plants going into thier 5th week of flowering..... Am I wrong?

Should the buds have really started to fatten up already? or will I notice a massive difference once I have used the Canna PK?

And Here is a pic of the G13 Pineapple....ready to go into flower at the end of today......

Well... I re-potted the G13 Pineapple in my newly bought 10 Litre plant pots yesterday 60-40 with perlite and started her off on her first day of 12-12....

I will replace the G13 Pineapple in the veg cab with one of my seedsman WHITE WIDOW Ladies...I may start a new thread for the white widow.... so I can see the results from the very first time she bursts through the soil until the chop 12 weeks later.....

i think it will bulk out more.. my plants are bulking up every day and seem to be on fire now that i have the setup kinda dialed in..
yours look very pretty and i am SO envious.. i wish mine looked that good bro

looks like those plants are startin to snow.....mine started doing it and it has been the longest wait ive ever had....but that will all end n about 10 - 15 days....good luck on not lookin at them 10 times a day

5 years and i just have learnt now not to check them every 5 seconds lmao
they look good but your pots realy need to be wider next time start them in a 6 litere pot square pot and they can be kept in them throughout, my grows have always started in 6 litres and finished with a high yield in these same pots for five years now and the low light intensity is prob a factor in not bulking up enough to me they look like cfl flowers i know you are using a hps but you can also get them 3 inches from this light i have a 250 and a 600 the 600 needs to be 12 inches but the 250 can be like 5 inches away for optimal results so id get the light about three inches also have you put enough holes in that ice cream tub or the water will go nowhere its needs drainage this is the key and if you cant afford mylar use black and white its the next highest reflective material down from mylar but is way cheaper

Mainegrown: Thanks man, :thumbsup:... She still has 3 & 1/2 weeks to go before the chop....plenty of time to pack the weight on I'd imagine.... I'll PK her at the end of this week for 6 days and post up the results....

growmanchw: I've been learning as I go on this grow..... I thought that myself and invested in some 10 litre pots for the next time round.....

The pots they are in now are around about 8 Litres for no 1 afghan and 6ish Litres for no2....

They are pretty close to the light...(I will need to measure)...but they are just close enough that the light does'nt burn the back of my hand....

Are you serious?? :wtf: thats an insult to my intelligence.... of course I have drainage holes in the tub... they would have fucked up a long time ago If i hadnt..... yeah...I'll stick with the matt white thanks....
