Hi Guys,

Just a quick update.... I 'DID' recieve a new envirolite and hanger this morning as promised by the guy at basement lighting!

I've plugged it in and it's working fine this time round! :thumbsup:

I was just so Angry the other day as I thought I'd been ripped off!

There was a note inside the box saying

''sorry must have been a faulty lamp that got put back on the shelf''

I've emailded the guy and appologised for my telephone manner the other day, but I thought I was being ripped off! and that I understand some 'chancers' would try and scam them by sending old goods back!

I think next time I'll just go to my local hydro shop in person in future!

Hi Guys,

Its been a while since my last post...so heres a quick update!

I'm currently on Day 25 since the seeds hit the soil and I'm pleased to say everything is looking good I think?

The girls are looking really healthy... I made some homemade plant pots by cutting a couple of 5L water bottles in half and wraped them with alu foil and re-potted the girls in some canna coco pro+ ( 50-50 with perlite)

I've been watering every day with some very weak nutes...been using Canna coco A & B (2ml A) & (2ml B) to 2Litres of old tap water...

(unsure of P.H as I've still to invest in a Ph kit) although I know this is important.... I've had no problems so far....fingers crossed

The only small teething problem I did have at the start was with the heat coming off of my envirolite bulb! I managed to fry my girls and I thought they were doomed!

but I managed to sort that out by investing in a small 100mm bathroom extractor fan from B&Q (£15) ....which I have fitted so it is blowing into the cabinet and passively venting out of the gaps in the drawers...

Temps are currently sitting at 26 celcius but can be a degree or so higher depending on the ambient temperature of the room.....

I'll try and post some pics up for you guys to see what I mean....

Hey looking really good monny - plants are nice an green and healthy!!

I have an Afghan Kush that I got as a clone from a coop near me and it is just starting to show pistils in flowering.

Looks like we are pretty close in schedule, be interesting to see if there are any similarities.

My plant is weird though its shooting out mostly 3 finger leaves hahah

Hi Guys,

Well its day 27 since I first planted the seeds in the soil..... and I was kind of wondering if these ladies are at the correct height for plants that are around this age???

They are both around only 5 to 6 Inches Tall.... with 5 sets of branches...is this normal?

Damn...I hope the seed co have not mixed my seeds up and sent me some dwarf variety? :wtf:

It'd be really cool if one of you guys could let me know....

They are getting around 3500 lumens each I would estimate roughly....

Anyway, I finally invested in a P.H test kit today.....

and my purified (boiled & cooled) tap water minus nutes is sitting around 6 to 6.5 PH... I also got some canna PK for when Its time to flower.... as I've said above the girls are on thier 5th set of branches so I decided to top them aswell today and flushed them through with some purified water....the run off was also between 6 and 6.5..... Thats good right? :stoned:

Hi Guys!

Maaan its been a while!!

Been having some trouble with my internet connection lately so I've been offline for quite some time!

Well as you'll see from the picture my girls are doing GREAT!!

I was hoping to start flowering before now but I'm waiting on my 150w HPS arriving in the mail!

Wow! I cant believe the difference! from those old pics of my girls! My, How they've grown! They've got side shoots spurting everywhere like crazy!

After topping a while back they now one girls got 2 main top shoots and the other has 4!

I measured them just now and they're currently around the 40cm mark.... Getting really too big for my veg cab now.... so fingers crossed my HPS comes today or tomorrow.... :thumbsup:

I've had no problems so far! I really cant reccommend Canna Coco highly enough! I'm glad I chose it for my first grow!

The P.H of my water & nutrient solution is around 5.8 - 6.2 I would estimate using my Ph colour chart and temps are sitting steady at 24 celcius just now.... but a chilly 14 degrees with the lights off due to the winter temperatures...

One question I would like to ask of you veteran growers out there is:

Is it too late for these girls to be re-potted for flowering? or will that stress them out too much? and hamper my end quantity of product?

Is it possible to re-pot whilst flowering has commenced?
