Messed Up My Light Schedule
OK, so I am an idiot. My mechanical timer (I hate mechanical timers BTW, not precise enough) has been turning my lights on at 7:40 and off at 7:45. Both markers are set at 8 on the timer, 15 minute increments. So instead of having 5 extra minutes of light, I decided I would rather have 10 extra minutes of dark. Well, stupid me moved the "ON" marker the wrong way, so the lights came on 15 minutes early instead of 15 minutes later. Whoops!
My question is will this greatly affect my plants, and should I cut the lights off 15 minutes early to make up for the extra 15 minutes of light? Or should I just leave it and let it pick back up tomorrow with the schedule I was trying to set it on of 11:50 of light and 12:10 of dark? My plants are currently at day 12 of flower.
Also, I have Dutch Master's Reverse spray and I used it on days 1, 3, 5, and 10, and I am planning on using it all through week three which starts in 3 days.dejayou30 Reviewed by dejayou30 on . Messed Up My Light Schedule
Hey dejayou30,
Don't sweat it at all, it will have no effect on your plants. You can also change the photoperiod back to whatever you want and again the plants won't be effected. Such small amounts of time gained or lost will not induce plant stress.
Reverse is a good product that I use, but I think you are going alittle overboard with it's use. 2-3 applications each about 10 days apart is all that is needed. But I have used it more frequently then that a few times, and it did not seem to harm the plants.
Good luck and good growing.

Messed Up My Light Schedule
Thanks oldmac. I thought I was in trouble, and the plant would take that extra 15 minutes of light, or 15 minutes less of darkness rather, to get the signal the days were getting longer, and would then cause some problems for me. But your word has put me at ease, so thanks.
As for the application of Reverse, the bottle says you only have to apply on day one and day 10, and then says again to apply in weeks one and three. In the past I have combined the two, and spray on days 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 17, and 19 and have not had any seeds at all. My last grow I only applied it on days 1, 3, and 10 because I was out of the spray after day 10 and didn't have money to buy more, and ended up with a late pollination and a bunch of annoying little preemie seeds in my grinder. That is why I decided that maybe more is better. I also don't use Penetrator.
Anyways, thanks for the info!
