Thanks for the reply iGrow27. I decided to raise the lights and lower the intensity to a smaller bulb, and I also switched to a 24 hour light schedule and new roots are beginning to pop out all over the place. I am hoping that after a couple weeks, normal growth will resume.

Last year, the mother Purple Kush plant from two generations ago as this current one got really bad root rot and fell entirely limp and lifeless for 2 weeks during veg, but miraculously came back to life. After it perked back up, it grew single leaves but eventually returned to normal after a new root system grew. I ended up flowering it and yielded about 2 ounces of tasty purple bud, despite major fan leaf loss and a bunch of single finger leaves from the 2 week slump. I am hoping it will be the same with with this, as I'd hate to have to go through the trouble of growing out new seeds and sexing them and what not, especially when I know that the flavor and potency are desirable in this specific plant.

As for the tap water, its pretty stiff, but I haven't had any problems from it yet. I started using RO water in flower and just stick with tap water to veg, and I have very few problems aside from this kind of freak stuff. I am planning on buying an RO machine soon so I don't have to spend a buck a gallon on RO water, and then I will probably switch everything to RO, but until then, the tap water is free.
