The problem is nitrogen def but can't guarantee your ferts will work, but the probably will. If the urea dissolves in water and the manufacturer says it is for plant use, then you can feel comfortable that the plants will take this up. 45 sounds pretty high. Did you mix the powder into the soil? The 8-7-6 should be enough. Just don't overdo it.
polishpollack Reviewed by polishpollack on . nitrogen, urea, and a nitrogen deficiency solution question my plants are under 3 40w and 1 60w cfl's they are in organic soil with 20% pearlite and 10% peat mix they are about 2 weeks old i have not started feeding them nutes yet because the soil says on it "feeds for up to three months" and i didnt want to burn them two of my plants , the largest of the bunch, have leaves turning light green then yellowing from the bottom up and tips in. i believe this is nitrogen deficiency so i have purchased urea and have mixed a small amount into the Rating: 5
