well I have heard of swampcoolers b4. and the reason why they arent more popular is they can be used in low humididty areas only. if you live surrounded by water like I am, humidity is high most of the time and i believe humidity cant be more than 35%

YouTube - 12v portable air conditioner camping tent I swapped out the regular ice for dry ice. i made a smaller unit out of a 5 gallon bucket . i put water to about 2in deep and i dropped the dry ice in. fan blowing in the top with four 1in holes just under the lid on the side of bucket. I used it in my closet grow for about the last 2 months. Rating: 5
