Looking good. CFLs deffinitly work. I got near 3 oz from my first grow. What a learning experience that was. Ill be keeping an eye. Im currently havin a newborn seedling problem, so its nice to watch urs and compare, Im odly at ease right now lol, Im getting very impatient haha.

Patience is the Key my friend!
3 oz is respectable! Got similar results from my very first grow last year!

First leaves are growing fast! Thanks to 2x 42w 6500k cfls! 5700 lumens total for tiny baby girl! I'll put more light when she'll get bigger, don'T want to burn her!

ya man, my first grow, i was so patient with watering and I thought I got that down pat pretty quick and easy, but this time around I dunno, I did some things a little different and I wish I hadnt just so I could better try and figure out whats wrong. Eitherway I threw both of the ones I had troubles with in a 24/0 lighting cub with my bubble cloner. I gently removed the dirt around the one that just looked like crap and found that the whole plant, root an all was an inch. Pretty much no roots, so i used a spray bottle n cleaned the part where roots should be, then let it sit in a rooting hormone for 5 mins, then changed the soil so it wouldnt be wet and only time will tell. Do you plan on growing these straight threw or are you going to take cuttings for clones.

I will try to LST this one out. And I will have a total of 30 000 lumens (all around the plant) for flowering this baby. I think it will turn out great!

are you just pasting in your url?

if so, try the "insert link" button (the earth with the chain links). then paste the url in the box, then it will put it in the form, sometimes the highlighted text doesn't need changed. if it does you can write what you want between the closing/opening brackets.

ya I just fooled around with it until it worked lol. Basically what shake said hahaha, gogogogogo. Ya bro, 30000 lumens is a lot of light. I had prolly about 30000lumens in my first cfl grow, just on one plant. I yielded 3 oz which was really nice, but thats the porblem with cfls, they dont really penetrate b.c the light strength is week already and as it travels it becomes even more week. I had to have my lights abuot 1-3 inches from the plant, basically totally surrounding the plant as if you see in the pics it had the main cola up high and alot of side bud branches half way down, that was a pain in the ass. I had about 300w of elictricity, and I can say that is why cfl growing works, and on a budget go for it, although lol I did spent like 10bucks pert 42w cfl and I had 8 PLus like 10 26watt 2700k bulbs and 8 6500k bulbs so its not reallly cheep, but you can just go out and get more light as you need apposed to spendin the money upgront on hps of mh. Iv been reading alot about light, and pretty much, you can be like oohhh these lights give out these amounts of lights, but really plants dont work on lumens lol. Its nice to know that when you have alot of them your plants will do well, but lumens was designed for humans to measure light. You should read up on your lights and ways to optimize your lighting b.c from what Iv read you may end up spending more per watt/lumen w.e than you think esp if you pay your own hydro bill. Take some time and educate yourslef cfl vs hps or i dunno. I found this neet link on hightimes L.E.D. GROW LIGHTS Read threw that. Based on this plus many youtube videos, links, other forums that L.E.D lighting will be the future of growing cannabis. Best of luck bro and if you have questions Id be glad to help. headshake, I tried everything. Dosen't want to work for me. So the urls in my sig will remain plain and untasty.

enhanced, I know an HPS be a must have. When the cfls will be all burnt out, I will maybe purschase an HPS.
But not before having my house...

looking good. slow but steady. i always noticed my plants seemed to lag at the beginning of veg with the CFLs.

i guess part of it has to do with the physyology of a plant. if a plant has to have leaves to photosynthesize, then growth should be exponential as the plant gains more of them, if all factors for growth are met.

headshake, plant grows at a fantastic pace, IMO. For sure under MH or HPS it will explode but for myself it's enough for now. I'm always thrilled to look at it when I wake up of when I come home from work. That's the pleasure of it!
