Each bulb puts out how many lumen?

You have so many bulbs that put out so many lumen. Those lumen are not added together to get a total of 30,000 lumen it's number of sources of the same amount of lumen.

The energy may be overlapping at some point to give a slightly higher combined total but with fluorescent light.. the light dissipates very quickly the further away from the bulb you are.

Does that make sense now?

4 bulbs at X amount of lumen is not combined..only distributed to a larger footprint.

If you got a light meter you would see what i mean.

That's why you need to use HID bulbs. 1 400W HID lamp can put out around 30K lumens and more!

Lumens, I don't even know what it is, but it works. But, it's like the bumble bee, aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway..
