Sure what does it matter to you lot if oil goes up a few cents a gallon? We on this side of the pond are being SHAFTED for petrol. over â?¬1.20/litre thats about $6.60/gallon. i think you guys are paying around $2.23 at the moment. it stresses me out when i hear americans complain about the price of gas:angry3:

no offense or anything man...but ireland is roughly the size of our state of indiana. here are the numbers i got off of yahoo answers:

Ireland : 70,280 sq km (27,140 sq miles)
USA : 9,826,630 sq km (3,794,000 sq miles)

That's quite a big difference. There's a ton of open space here. Hell I know people that have to drive forty miles one way to get to work. If gas was 6.60 a gallon here. We'd be fucked. It sucks that you have to pay that much for gas. The whole gas situation sucks...but when you have to drive as much as we do in unpopulated areas....high gas prices really mess up your finances.

please elaborate on racist ignorance. i am still trying to figure out how everyone labels obama as black. his mom was WHITE, which, for all intents and purposes makes him WHITE! just like if she was a catholic it would make him the same.

no one ever brought that up. it's the fact that he's a lying moron who got awarded something for what he's supposedly trying to accomplish. let's give it to a fifth grader that's good at math hoping he solves some insane equation in the future.

there is a big difference between rap and hip hop by the way. although they are similar, they are not one and the same. hip hop has a message, usually positive about moving forward and righting wrongs (kinda like how it started). and like all music it goes beyond gender, race, color, creed or religion. it breaks down walls and helps unite people on common grounds.

by the way, obama called kanye a jackass, does that make him a racist?

I find it amusing that when it suits one's purposes, being half- white makes a person" ... for all intents and purposes...white", but those who would judge a person based solely on the color of one's skin tend to argue that much smaller percentages of black blood would make a person black. The amusing thing is that I can't for the life of me see a difference between the two assumptions. I guess I'm the racist. To get a little closer to the point, given the nature of this whole set of forums (why we're here, I thought), Mr. Obama has been singularly unimpressive on the issue of Marijuana and its place in our society. Same old law and order do-si-do bullshit. The libertarians are the only ones with any principles at all.

so don't get involved in this stupidity next time. i'm merely going by govt classification purposes. i could care about half white or half black or whatever. it just cracks me up for people running around saying we have a black president. you know, all the black people. the same one's who are now complaining about the facts that obama has done nothing for "them". as a matter of fact he hasn't done anything said he would do and mostly re-nigged on those promises of "change". you can label me racist or whatever you want. i've been called worse. i just moved out of the hood though. i've seen it first hand. not of non-existent "news" program reports.

it's also funny that this is only applicable when it's a "black" man in office. how many black people complained about oh, let's say the 43 presidents that came before barry soetoro? yeah, thought so. so it can't be racist one way and not the other. and since we are on the subject, can someone removed jimmy carter from barry's dick?!?! he's the first one to call racism. what the fuck ever. like america didn't know this would happen. the first minority elected was bound to have a rough time. if it was a woman we'd all be sexist. the next minority elected is going to have a much worse time. especially if barry can't right the ship. or produce a birth certificate for that matter.
(we won't touch the fact that he's possibly not a citizen of this country. there are ongoing court battles for that.)

so labeling something doesn't suit my purpose. we all know obama is full of shit and won't do anything for mj. this thread was started to show what a joke it was that he received a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. and for what? something he's trying to accomplish. i'm trying to grow amazing bud. perhaps i should win one for horticulture?
