Grow room construction

This thread is for anyone who wants to basically design a grow room in 3-D to see how everything will fit and just to play around with. Basically what you do is take the dimensions of the space you are working with and mirror them in a 3d enviroment, you can add almost anything to your room including premade hydro setups, plant potters, any size flourescents, even an airconditioner and flexible hoses. this program rocks!!! The program is called google sketchup pro. it a 500 dollar program but if you are interested i can help you get it for free. i will post a pic of something i was messing around with sometime but in the meantime anyone preconstruction should check it out its a hell of a good time.

Furthermore; i would like to here some of the rooms people have made that failed or suceeded and why, knowledge is power.

this is the kind of things you can do witht this program. In the program also you can actually set up your room exactly the way you want it to scale and then walk through it and it looks exactly as if you were walking throught he actuall room. it hard to explain but its awsome.

I have used the free downloadable version a little bit; just playing around. Is there a lot more functionality with the pro version?

ive never actually used the regular version i imagine there are a few cahnges but of them i cant be positive. The free one only has like 8 hours i think you can use it for, does your version have a counter? if it does i can point you in the right direction to get it for free.
