Well if you didn't want a link, you should have used the search button and found your own lol. But whatever, i'm bored, and no ones really on this part of the boards anymore..

So anyways, 1oz of bud to 1 lb of butter is a good ratio to work with..its usually the one that people suggest in all the other budder threads..
And the water thing isnt neccesary, but i think some people do it just to control the temp a bit. The only difference is after the process is done and solidified, there will be water seperated frmo the budder which you discard.

One butter is made from the leaves after a harvest, how much butter do your substitute into a recipe. Is it a 1 cup to 1 cup kind of thing?

I get great results with one cup of ground, packed shake to three sticks of butter. Boil some water, add the butter. When it has all melted, add your shake, stir for a minute. Cook for 2-3 hours of an extremely low simmer, stirring every 20 minutes. When finished cooking, squeeze EVERY drop of green goodness out of the shake. Obviously you have to strain the leaf from the liquid first. Take your butter/H2O mix and put it in the freezer for an hour and a half, then refrigerate until you have a solid green butter layer. Remove the butter, discard the water, and bake with the butter!
