    Global Warming or Climate Change

From Chicago this morning we have

No Kidding: Snow on Sunday! | NBC Chicago

I just don't buy the "warming" hypothesis anymore I guess....I believe its a naturally occruing thing. Up and down from place to place.

Sure, im all for hybrids (old lady drives a prius) (to offset my F-350) and recycling and whatever.....low impact kinda shit. But when will this stupid " the earth is getting hotter debate end?" Looks more like a profiteering thing these days.

We just come off of 10 years of pretty hot weather. They've been humping it for all its worth. Now were going towards a cooling trend which they are exacerbating with chem trails.

I am inclined to believe global warming is real, at least to the extent that the pollutants humans put in the air via industry, deforestation, etc. has to have negative effects on our environment. But to the extent that we need to further tax emissions and such, absolutely not. I definitely think people are trying to push it for their own profit, but to me, I think the answer lies in education of the effects of every day things have on our planet, and encourage people to be more conservative with natural resources and recycle more. Oh, and legalize hemp!

the earth is on a natural cycle.
lets all do a bit of recycling but its just another way for governments to make billion doller industries out of thin air.. carbon tax is the same....its just a legal racket

I am on the fence, I have to say. We definately affect our environment, Im just not sure about the extent of our impact. And to me, growing up in a rural place, conservation makes sense anyhow. No matter if its our natural resources, money, or what have yah.

I also dont mind if people are making money off of it. We are running out of resources, slowly but surely, and developing a new industry takes time, energy, and money.
