What I usually do is self surgery, the old fashioned way. Just some alchool and a real thin needle, and you can usually fish the hair right out of there with limited bleeding. you can also try popping it like a pimple.
Pins are not that good.. try a sterilized super point xacto blade ...much cleaner surgical cut ...
