Weed Tea. Am i doin this right?
Tea, humm - interesting I find this thread now.....
I see several ideas here, but here is how I did it believe it or not for my mother whom is 65 years old (kemo patient right now). Now I did not drink it myself, but she claims it was fine, and actually could have gone for it a little weaker - but the ONLY other time in her life she used it was also within a few months ago, and that was a chicken breast with stems chopped up to almost a powder liberally sprinkled over it, and baked at 350 degrees. She just will not smoke anything, but she wanted the weed - and it was NOT my idea, it was hers; she actually called me and asked for it so....
Now there were a few effects wanted that weed would not do, that is why the combination, but here is what I did for her....
1 TBS grated ginger root
0.5 g weed
cut a piece of a coffee filter just big enough to hold the weed after folding it up, and use a small piece of wire (like a bread tie, after removing the paper or plastic from it) to hold that together (this is to retrieve the weed after tea is done).
Put the ginger root and the weed in a tea ball. Place the filled tea ball in a coffee mug.
boil watter in a tea kettle.
Poor boiled watter in mug with tea ball (DO NOT poor water until kettle is whistling!).
Steep for 5 Mins. (No sooner!)
If desired add sweetener, milk, cream, exc.
Drink.
The weed (this part I have done myself.) can then be dried out and re-used for smoking.
