First make some oil:

Place your well dried and ground leaves and stems (or bud of course) in a soup pot. Pour in enough peanut oil to cover the material and bring it to a simmer. You could use any cooking oil, but peanut oil seems to have the best taste with bud. Back off your temperature just a bit to a very low simmer and let cook for 20 to 30 minutes. If you have enough waste material to work with, repeat this process several times: pour through a strainer into a second pot. Dispose of the extracted plant material and simmer a new batch of ground leaves and stems in the oil, repeat until you run out of plant matter.

Strain this oil and place in mason jars.

Now the coffee:

Pour a bit of the fattiest coffee creamer you can find, about 1/2" deep in the bottom of an average coffee cup, add two teaspoons full of oil and a bit of sugar. Microwave this concoction for about 45 seconds and then stir the hell out of it to mix the oil and cream together as much as possible. Add coffee and drink.

Easiest to make if you have an espresso machine around.

Heat up some eggnog in a small cooking pot or using your espresso machine's steamer - no, not the low fat healthy stuff, we want the real artery clogging fat laden nog here. If you're heating on the stove, just bring it up to 150 degrees - you don't want to scorch the milk. Mix in a couple spoonfuls of oil and two shots of espresso in a nice large coffee cup. I like to add a shot of Baileys Irish cream and/or kalauah as well, but that's entirely optional.

This amazing holiday tradition can be a survival essential for family gatherings. Sit back with a cup of warm spiced ganja-espresso-nog goodness while your annoyance and stress just melt away.
