I'm not 100% sure, but I would suggest that you dry it first. The trichomes will fall off the trim easier, plus the chlorophyl and whatnot will mostly have drained...you don't want it making your butter taste bad.
There are quick ways of drying it, just don't go too hot and burn the THC. I like to use a dehydrator on 95F. It doesn't get hot, and the airflow shortens my drying time from 4-6 days to 24 hours. I only do this if I have to; I usually let it properly dry.[SIZE=\"3\"]Originally Posted by UMrocksmysocks

I would not do that. You need to cure the trim for 2 weeks after the harvest to allow the THC and CBD to completely convert from sugar to their full chemical fullness. It will work, but the quality of the product will not be as good. Fast drying without allowing the cure leads to harsh smoking too because of the sugars that still are left.

Thank you Lord for this green thumb, I so love to grow your gift of cannabis.

I guess it all depends on how much of a hurry you are in
Aged wine or box wine seems to be the choices.
I let mine dry for 2-3 days if its just the schwag and it seems to do me right every time. Ive tried it fresh and green and it does give you a high no doubt about that but its not that intense its much shorter I notticed.
So I dunno..all up to you marijuana has always been about time time and more time..the more time you put into it the better:hippy:
