    Easy Ryder T5/HPS Grow

    Hey, I'm back. This time I have a different plant to grow and I'm very determined this time. I decided to upload my grow log because when I first got my seeds I didn't really see many logs on easy ryder. So here goes..

    Joint Doctor's Easy Ryder (Lowryder#2 x AK-47)
    Feminized
    (2)23W T5 for seedlings and veg
    150HPS for flowering (so much better than those LED panels and my last grow with T5s!!)
    Soilless in Coco
    Pure Blend Pro Gro, Bloom and Liquid Karma
    20/4 light cycle

    I will be posting weekly so please subscribe, I'd like to start some questions and answers here because this is gonna be my best grow having learned so much from my previous experiences and knowing exactly how to treat my plants. Thanks - maspino1

    Easy Ryder T5/HPS Grow

    Day 4 - growth seems a bit slow starting here:
    [attachment=o228938]

    Mon, September 28, 2009
    -Leeched coir after boiling with hot water
    -Buried seed 1/3" into coir
    -Soaked coir with strong Liquid Karma solution to facilitate germination and root development
    Tue, September 29, 2009
    -Turned off one light to bring down heat
    -Covered with plastic planter to raise pot humidity
    -PHed medium w/ LQ and Bloom; washed out seed in process
    -Seed had grown tail so oriented tail downwards
    Wed, September 30, 2009
    -Seed poking out of medium; already green from light exposure
    Thu, October 01, 2009
    -Seedling begins to grow first true leaves
    -Removed planter
    -Both T5s are on
    Fri, October 02, 2009
    -Leaves looked dry so put clear plastic oven bag over for humidity
    -Removed after a few hours because of heat buildup inside bag
    -Added 4 hours of dark into cycle
    Sat, October 03, 2009
    -Watered with new solution with veg instead of bloom nutes
    -AFter solution soak added fish water to solution; will use next watering
    -It seems at this point growth has slowed and rooting is taking place
    Sun, October 04, 2009
    -Observed root poking out of bottom of container
    -Added H2O2 to solution then soaked coco
    -Attempted to use yeast and sugar for CO2

    Hmm whats up with the different solutions? A good soil/soiless mix and good water should be suffice to start a seed why the extra nutes? Just curious, I don't think I would do that but if you have a reason for it I would be all ears. once your at a few nodes in maybe,,, other then that you soaking your coir with the liquid karma that should of been more then enough anything much after that is odd in my head. veg or any other nute without a few true leaves is not something I have seen or read on here or in person. I will subscribe and hang around for a bit, I haven't seen a ryder auto grow log on here in awhile.:rastasmoke:

    sweet, thanks for joining in guys! well, i'm kinda worried that there might not be enough of anything to get it going so i added bloom at first then switched it to grow but then it slowed down so i put in both with the karma, i haven' seen any signs of burn yet so hopefully things stay that way.

    please keep checking back, i'd like to share this with others who want to grow easy ryder cuz i know when you're waiting on a plant to grow reading material can be very entertaining lol. i just came back home from buying materials to make my case fan out of, im just about to set it up

    Here is the finished fan:
    [attachment=o228956]

    It was a simple radio shack ac fan (which the salesperson couldn't help me shit all with!). BTW, it's louder than I had anticipated but i think i can zone it out the longer i hear it, especially since the cardboard conducts the sound too. The fan is so strong I can feel it moving air around my feet and I'm about 3 feet away. I have it blowing into the box so that means it's blowing air out through the sides and the flaps. Next.. testing it with my hps

    So this is the plant in with the HPS which is totally keeping cool:
    [attachment=o228958]

    And this is hwo it looks from the outside:
    [attachment=o228957]

    Unfortunately I'm gonna have to figure out a way to put the hps in there so that the top cola will be getting light cuz unfortunately when I cut the hole for the fan I forgot to take into account the fact that the hps was supposed to be hanging from above. Fuck... :sadcrying

    It's so bright I gotta put my tanning goggles on lol

    I currently am growing a Autoflower called RoadRunner....Which is a cross between Lowrider#1 x Dinafem #1

    The first couple days with it's first set of true leaves were slow, but then one day that son-of-a-bitch just started to take off. I have pictures in my thread.

    I'm sure in the next couple days, that thing will start to boom!

    Good luck and Happy Growing!

    P.S. I'm subscribed! :thumbsup:
