chewing salvia--difference between smoking

has anyone ever chewed and sucked on the juices of some salvia leaves? if so, how much did you use and what effect did you have? I hear it's less intense but lasts longer if you chew it, it might be more pleasant that way. Those 2 bong rips of 15x was the craziest fucking shit ever.

chewing salvia leaves doesnt really work. it gave me nothing but a bad taste in my mouth, smoking extract is the only way to really get the affects of salvia.
