Adding moisture to dry herb
small pce of lettuce will work, and will not impart any aroma or taste

The best item I've seen are these small metal discs (with something inside) and some small holes. You soak it then put in in your jar or humidor. They sell them in cigar shops.oldmac Reviewed by oldmac on . Adding moisture to dry herb i've read lots of threads how people added damp cloths, sponges, slices of apples, pears, oranges, water melon, just about every fruit and vegetable can be added in a mason jar to add moisture, however it leaves the herb smelling like the vegetable or or fruit that is placed beside there especially bread. if not watched with care, it can cause mold. MY QUESTION IS if i put some of that flavored water on a sponge and put it in the mason jar, next to the herb will it add weight, taste and smell? i Rating: 5
