Need Help! PPM/PH problem
Everytime after watering the PPM goes up. The reason being that the plants absorb more water than nutrient Im assuming. My question is should I add water to the RES to keep the PPM the same throughout the week even if the PPM went up a little bit or only if it goes up a lot?
Another thing that Im worried about is that Im starting flowering next week and the lights are going to be off from 12am to 12 pm and watering comes on at 8 45am. So after it waters I need to adjust the PH. Would it be better to not disturb them and wait until the lgihts come on at 12pm to change the PH or just change the PH right after watering using the least amount of light possible.Jmann567 Reviewed by Jmann567 on . Need Help! PPM/PH problem
More info needed...
media, method, etc.
With the limited data you have provided all I can suggest is that uninteruppted darkeness is important. Do all gardening chores during "light" periods.
If yu'd like to give more info, I'm sure someone will help.

P.S. Just filling in for Headshake while he is busy moving...

Need Help! PPM/PH problem
Ok Im using a drip system 18 plants
water twice a day one at 845am the other at 420pm
the roots are not touching the RES water yet but their getting close
so your saying its better to wait untill the lights turn on to chagne the PH
so from 845am to 1200am the RES water is going to have an unblanced PH
isn't that goin to be bad for the roots when they start touching the RES water?
what if I could change the PH with only allowing little (and very light) light?

Need Help! PPM/PH problem
I've only done soil and coco DWC growing so I really can't help with a drip system too much. Are you using Hydroton or rockwool. The media can affect drain-off EC and PH. I learned the hard way that it could be best to measure both and flush until both no loger affect running water/nutes through.
The more info you provide, the better someone can help you. Not trying to pull your chain or anything, just trying to be helpful.
No one here wants to give you bad advice.

Aye I agree with Dis 100%. NO LIGHT!!! when its dark let it be dark and changing watering times to fit "light hours" is the plan to go with
On a side note ..... Good luck with the move Headshake!!If you have something productive to say by all means speak up, if not then please close the hole under your nose.
