    Trichs not turning amber

I have a supposedly quick finish 6-8 week flowering strain. I'm in week 11 and even though some of the trichs are cloudy and the hairs are 70% brown, the trichs still aren't anywhere near amber. It seems to have been like this for the past couple weeks with little bid growth or maturing even observed. I don't like having this long of a flowering period for many reasons. One of them being that the plant is getting weaker with time. There aren't many leaves left and even the stem looks weaker than it did say at 5 weeks veg.

Do I just wait this out even though there haven't been much if any change in trich color for the past couple weeks? What do you think is going on? There's plenty of like (almost 10000 lumens for one plant, right up next to the top. I've stopped giving it nutes weeks ago because I thought I was harvesting soon. Would it be really wasteful to harvest now? This is my first grow and I kind of want to finish it :/

Patience, my friend - thrichome degradation is in your near future

If those stems are getting weak...maybe put some stakes in the ground for support

good advice  ... the pistils' (hairs) color doesn't display maturity, just go by your trichomes ... keep in mind, a lot of breeders' flowering time, is optimistic, to say the least ... patience will pay off, happy gardening :smokin:
