This link is to the Canadian Senate report on cannabis. There have been so many lies told about cannabis that it's hard to know what the facts are sometimes. I think cannabis is one of the finest treatments in the world, and where it's legal for you to do so, I encourage you to grow a few plants for yourself, and enjoy the one plant that has done so much for mankind.

I don't believe that cannabis is completely harmless when smoked. Burning plant matter produces tars and other harmful substances. However, the benefits of using cannabis far outweigh the drawbacks, in my opinion.
I hope you enjoy reading the Canadian report, it's very unbiased, and explains some of the risks associated with cannabis use.
