sweet, i would love to live in Holland for a while. i think my dad's side of the family is Dutch heritage, too. to be honest, i'm not sure if i've ever been to Leichenstein or not. we went thru a lot of Europe at night sleeping on the sleeping cars. i loved that. open up a window and let the cool air in and the sound of the train rattling on down the track, i was digging that.

we started in Amsterdam, after changing planes at Heathrow after a short little hop from LAX. just a little bit of culture shock . . . :stoned: then on thru Germany, the wall had just come down but we still couldn't go into the east yet, so we headed south thru Switzerland, Paris, Italy and Greece and then back to Rome and southern France. We wanted to make it to Madrid but had to cut back to Germany to come home. I love it!!! It was exhausting but what a summer.

I'm going to have to look at a map now and see if we did go thru Leichenstein, now. :stoned: it just sounds like a really cool place. i would really like to go back now and see the Eastern side we couldn't visit back then. Did you make it to Berlin?
