Cloning Questions

Alrite lads whats happening, Im a first time grower setting up my own home made hydroponic system, i served my time on a soil grow a few years back, i just have a few Qs bout clones- 1 How old do the mammys have to be b4 1 can safely take clones? Im buying regular ak-48 seeds coz theyre easier to get than fem'd ones in cork, so i want 2 weed out the males soon as possible by cloning them and putting them to flower young. Anyone got any advice or suggestions? much appreciated:stoned:

If the clone is going into a rockwool or Rapid Rooter cube one that is 21/2 to 3 inches will work just fine. If going into an EZ cloner a 3-4 inch will work. The length of time from seed to when a plant will produce a nice sized clone I would say is about maybe 6 weeks or so depends on the strain you have. Ak-48 should be somewhere in that time frame.

im reading a lot about root saturation in rockwool, but that the cubes must be soaked for 24hrs before the cracked seed is put in them, the rockwool cubes hold all the water you can put in the. Im worried that ill drown my seedlings, Any advice lads? How much water do these seeds get. im growing hydro first time and im being overwhelmed by info. My head is full and now im forgetting things like how to tie my laces and which side of the road to drive on!!:buzz_saw:


oh yeah i ended up getting g-force feminized so hopefully all girls, if i get that far
