Mold or not?

While growing my last batch, I had a bad case of mites and malnutrition I believe due to lockout. Most of the fan leaves turned yellow right away and then started to turn brown or a slightly darker color. It still grew relatively well even though the issues. After harvesting and drying...some of the leaves turned a shade of black. I thought 'mold' but when I trimmed into the inside of the bud, it was green and without dark matter. It is all superficial on the outside of the buds. Looking closer at the leaves, those darker sections are actually gold under the micro.
My questions are is this mold or something toxic? Under he micro, it looks like gold masses intertwined between the trichs. Do older leaves that break down do this type of transformation or is this bad?

These buds went deep into flowering.

I am not sure I follow...what is Blite?

Not sure I spelled it correctly, but it is a plant disease that attacks the cells of the plant. You may want to internet this one for a full pic. of what it is. I know mine came down with it many years ago. It leaves bubble like sores on the leaves and then kills the plants. I once thought it was mites that got me, till a friend showed me on the web what it was.
