should i harvest?? 2ndtime outdoors
hey everyone. I just wanted to get confirmation on weather or not i should go ahead and cut this. It was a bagseed plant and it doesnt have much on it but i was still wanting to taste what it has...
i was thinking about another week??
anyone?
PS. i do not know how long it has been growing or anything. i just planted this in a ditch and it has grown wildly with hardly any help besides trimming.
Thanks,

you might want to wait a bit. it looks like you have some cloudy and some clear trichs. you want to wait until they are mostly cloudy to sprinkled with amber. this is personal preference of course.

Any 2nd opinions?

The only real way to be 100% is to check the color of your trichromes. They should be 65-75 % amber. You want to use a magnifier of at least 30x . Otherwise its hard to be very accurate.

65-75% amber is a little too much for most's tastes. while when to harvest is a personal preference, a lot prefer 15-25% amber.
the trichs are over-ripening when they are turning amber. yes, the plant will pack on a bunch of weight, but it's by no means the best time to harvest.

well my main concern is building up thc levels in the bud. I have read that the longer you wait the higher the concentration. correct??
does the color of the trichs effect just taste or thc content also?

The longer the plant matures, the more CBD that is produced, which is where the amber trichomes come in..the more you let it mature, the heavier the stone is going to be..but you don't want it to get over ripe...looks like fan leaves have been clipped?? bad dog, the leaves are the solar panels for the plant my friend

if there's any way you can get a jeweler's loupe or a close shot on your buds, this is one about 65 % amber or so..which makes a really good hard hitting pain med, but it's just about preference really
