I just watched today how the Cardinals vote on the next Pope, it's a 700 year old tradition...it was fascinating. It's nice to know some things haven't been altered by technology.

I'm no longer a practicing Roman Catholic, but news of the Pope's poor health really made me sad. I even considered going to Mass today or at least visiting the Church, lighting a candle and saying a prayer. He's an itelligent man and somehow you can feel his goodness come through, even if you don't agree with his views.

As a matter of fact, I will visit the Church...maybe even say the Rosary...if I still remember how.
