One seed in a 5 gallon pot would drive you crazy trying to determine how much water to put on the plant. Much better to start off in a 16oz drink cup or maybe a 5 inch pot until the plant becomes established. Transplanting or up potting is not that big of a deal. These plants are tougher than you might think. I've never killed one yet do to transplanting.
ditdotter Reviewed by ditdotter on . when you start the seed why dont you guys just start them in 5 gallon buckets instead of transplanting them a couple times? I assume it has something to do with nutes and water but im just wondering for my future grow because i woldnt want to hurt the plant while transplanting Rating: 5
