Shov's Autumn 2009 Grow

I decided to start the next round of plants, though I don't know where I will be putting them as the present grow still has at least a week for the most of the plants and a few weeks beyond that for the sativa.

I have (80 SSH x Blueberry, (8) MNS Neville's Haze (hoping for some females this time) and one Bubblegum x Blueberry seeds germinating. I'll continue the progress reports in a new grow journal when then get to a respectable size.

No, appears that the stamen are mostly sterile. I do have see forming from the earlier polination though.

That's a bonus then. I must admit to keeping a strain going for 12 years that had a strong propensity for intersexual characteristics... I'd brought the seed home in the toe of my boot from Nepal in the early 90's, so I was a bit sentimental about them. Gone now, lost when my seed stash was nicked.

NO, the dark period wasn't it. It's the strain.

and thanks bombD. I seen these stamen in this strain when I really looked for them under the female calyxes, after drying. Usually you just have the odd little dried up yellow stamen (banana) in the buds. Not always like fully developed male balls that open up with 5 stamen full of pollen, like a real male.

Well, maybe the dark period did help, i"ve never seen so many. I checked trics and they're not ready yet. Hope next week. The NCDG is a 50-55 day strain, I'm not sure about this hybrid. I'm at day 50 now. The z11 sativa will be quite a bit longer. The indica doms should be done soon.

I know it, huh? Nice genes. This is the only (NCDG) fem survivor of all the seeds gifted from two different people. I'm anxious to smoke some up!
I'm poor at distinguishing smells and I"ll just have to wait and try some out in a few weeks. I am thinking of harvesting this week and I am going to pull a bud of the Z11 and put it on the radiator for a preview.
