I cant tell you how many folks I have met that signed on for 4 or 5 years probation (which they violated for something very minor) when they had a chance to sit out their sentence for 15 - 30 days and been done and free. Gross overstatement. It's not about age, it's about how likely you are to have further adventures in the criminal justice system, which is not synonymous with age.
