    Jacking the Prices in Washington

Well after I went to Hempfest I wrote them an Email to find out why there were no Petitions to be signed to get hemp on the ballot and all I got was silence. What a scam they are pulling, knowing that there will be enough signatures to get things going yet they do NOTHING. WOW...Seems now people are coming around with "Pharmacy" weed and are jacking up the prices. Seems that another poster here is right about the State of Activism in the State. It is ALL about money to these people that claim they are helping us and they are all getting rich at our expense. Don't pay more because it is supposed to be "Pharmacy" weed, Not one gram is actually grown by anyone but regualr people like us, greed is just getting in the way. If this is what has to happen for there to be Pharmacies then I hope they do have a task force as that is all that will protect us from higher prices. It has become the ultimate money maker in California and they want it to happen here also. Soon you will be paying $120 quarter if these people get their way. They teach so much misinformation that some of them need to be busted. I have a couple friends that are convinced by whoever SOLD them their card that they can Legally grow up to 99 plants....As the growers get busted these jerks will be sitting pretty. This whole card system is a joke but a seriously good money maker, although a Judge won't care a bit about your card just the letter from your Doctor.
Been lurking too long and this just gets my goat.

And we never failed to fail...it was the easiest thing to do.

    OK sandybarr.lol
Prices have stayed competitive in Cali with all the dispensaries and it will happen here eventually. And you're right there should have been a drive for legalizing dispensaries and co-ops at Hempfest. And yes you're right, its about the money, but then it always is in this country. In order for any bill or initiative to get passed in this country there has to be someone who is going to make a lot of money off of it. Which of course is why we don't have much of a drive to completely deregulate MJ. Nobody would get rich off of it.

Well the sales tax part would be incentive for the state to allow non profit co-ops. I believe the 10%, a buck a gram, would bring in a tidy sum for the state to allocate to medical insurance plans or some other beneficial plan for the less fortunate. A legalization of co-ops would also bring a drop in price due to their existance. There are plenty of patients around with authorizations that could help supply their co-ops with a legitimate renumeration for their production. Or our esteemed leaders could use it for education, not indoctrination. Teacher's need classroom supplies or funds for educational field trips and educational audio/video teaching aids. Its not a difficult decision to arrive at. Its just some LEOs that refuse to obey the will of the people and that aids the black market that keeps that whole issue going.

I agree. The state could generate some nice revenue off of this. But its a political football so they don't like to touch it. It'll take another referedum by the people to get the job done.

When someone refers to themselves as a Medical MJ "Activist" or talks about "the cause" It's usually my first indication that they're in it for the money or the attention.

I'm not saying anyone in this thread has done that, I'm just saying that a LOT of people in this state give MMJ a BAD NAME.

I"ll tell anyone that wants to know about MMJ, anything they need to know about it. What I WON'T do is steer them to a dispensary or doc that is associated with one.

NOTHING from a dispensary (or anywhere else, for that matter) will ever come CLOSE to what comes out of my kitchen and garden.

PLANTS ABSORB THE ENERGY THAT YOU FEED THEM and I don't want to smoke someone elses greed....

Greed, kinda like the kettle calling the pot black. the hypocrisy from some people is insurmountable. I am not here to make trouble but I will always call a spade a spade. I think it is ironic that a person talking about good vibes and energy, towards MMJ and patients would scalp tickets for 300% more than face value. I just don't feel you have any merit in talking about how greed is bad, when you profit from it. The funniest part was you knew we were patients before you gouged us. As I have said to you before, we have no problem paying for something we want and we also feel there is a very bad undertone for med patients due to escalating prices, but it is belittling to know you act like you are not guilty of the same things you condemn, and it would seem you had no moral or ethical problem charging us 350$ for two 50$ tickets to the Cheech and Chong show.:wtf:
