what's up with my plant?
okay so i'm new at this....
i've got some pictures as a reference... it just seems like it's been growing forever and i'm just wondering when it's going to start budding.
is there any way that anyone can tell me how far along my plant is and if it's anywhere near budding.

it's a heavily sativa-leaning strain, will take a long time to grow, and likely to be well worth your time ... should start budding heavily soon, if outdoors ... feed it a good flowering formula fertilizer ... be aware, you are likely contaminating your house with tiny insects, going back and forth outside ... grow it in one or the other, but not both ... happy gardening :smokin:

Nice plant. Unfortunately, it will keep on growing during flower cycle. It's going to get huge! Usually these plants start to flower when the light cycle become fairly even, meaning about 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. In order to force it to flower, you might consider bringing it inside for a 12 hour dark period, then put it back outside for 12 of sun. This will take alot of diligence as you always will have to be home in time to do this. You'll become a slave to the plant but in the end it will be worth it cause a plant that size will really produce. Just figure out a way to get it in and out safely, so you don't knock it over and break it or dump the soil. You might consider transplanting into a bigger pot too because it could probably use more space. What would be great is if you put a big pot on a platform like plywood with wheels so you can roll it around easily. Or maybe figure out some way to shade it so it's in complete darkness when on your balcony. Nice plant! What ferts are you using?

what's up with my plant?
you guys are awesome thanks so much
yeah all i did was plant it in one of those growing trays and put it outside... cocunut husks or something like that. then just replanted it into the little potter with some miracle grow potting soil.
12 hours of darkness you mean absolute not even a sliver or light darkness, correct?
thanks for everything. i'll post pictures to here when it starts to flower and whatnot!

I agree wholeheartedly with the Image Reaper. Indoors or out, not both. Proper nutes at the proper ratio is a must, too.
Light from the moon and stars is fine, but her keep away from porch lights, street lights, helicopter lights, car headlights, Motel 6 signs...
If keeping her indoors, absolutely no light during dark periods. Not even a sliver once in a while.

It'll be ok to move the plant indoors and outdoors. The plant doesn't know the difference. What you're doing by giving a plant 12 of darkness is getting the plant to change its hormones so it will flower. That's all.
