So a few years ago I had a grow room set up with 2 1kw lights, and 1 400 watt light, in a 10 x 10 bedroom. That was my first grow ever and I never got to the harvest cuz I ended up in the hospital for 3 days and by the time I got back my plants were all dead. When I had that grow room, I powered each 1kw light with a 6" 465cfm inline fan, that was venting into the bedroom next to it. It was a passive intake and I didn't bother to hook up the other end of the ventilation system from the window in the room. I really had no idea what I was doing but I figure it worked fine since my plants were doing well, or at least I thought they were.
Now, I'm about to set up my next grow room with 2 1kw switchable lights, and I plan on cooling each one with a 6" 465cfm inline fan, same as my other op. They will both be on 6 ft light rails. But the house I'm in, there is no bedroom next to the grow room, so I can't vent into another room. Is it possible to have a passive intake from the ceiling and having it vent to the window? Would it also help to get a window AC unit? If that vent system doesn't work, then what would be the best way to cool my grow room?
Also, I plan on growing up to 100 buds under the 2 lights, is that enough?
