a 250 is small to get technical. just use it as it is and enjoy your smoke. dont worry about producing a little bit more then normal. I wouldn't use anything less then a 600 if it were me. Vertical without reflector is great for using all of the light if you place your plants around the light. if you use a reflector then i would suggest Horizontal with reflector the vertical cones or Parabolic reflectors are outdated and work very poorly. the Horizontal is easier and shoots the light straight down. you will lose some light that is being reflected back down. thanks i was just to lazy to make it a remote ballast once i did that i notice a big difference,thanks.250w will work for me i did great with a 150w hps 3 2 footer got at least 2 ounces per plant which i did a lot of Lst though but it worked
