Etrain,

I'm going to try to get in touch through AIM (if I can figure out what it is), looking forward to talking with you.

At first I thought you meant that Jewish comedian from the 60's. I'm interested in reading Sherman, now that you've mentioned his name; intend to pick up a copy of the book this weekend if I can. You've got me a little worried though, you know, anybody who writes a little (I've always meant to try my hand) would have a fear of unintentional plagerism (did I spell that right?). All the things I've written here were spontaneous and from the heart, except for an occasional look at a dictionary to check my spelling. If I wrote something that sounded like somebody else, it's both spooky and irritating. I write a little music too, and have the same dread of putting a tune out there and finding that someone wrote something way too similar at an earlier date. Obviously I have to check out the Rape of the Ape book. If I'm not a fan yet, maybe I will be soon; I've never read anything by him. I hope to God you just made an honest mistake.

Anyway, to give you a straight answer to a direct question, I'm not Allan Sherman. Actually I'm (not) Douglas Adams (APRIL FOOL!)
