    Lost everything

    I'd been ripped growing around my place for the past three grows. Last season I didn't bother. This year I moved the grow to a better spot but I still stress, especially at this time of the year. I did cut some branches from local plants and stuck them into the pot branches to try and hide them as they are big and beautiful. Four more weeks. :wtf:

    I know the feeling. I had a bunch growing and one in particular was oozing with resin. I decided to harvest the next day. So I went to my little shed and it was empty. I believe it was tree trimmers who cut down a pine tree in a neighbors yard the same day. They must have seen the green through the clear roof on my shed. Boy was that an empty feeling.

    Wow. 3 years in a row? That bites. It is indeed a stressful time of year. Hang tight and I hope all of you have a productive and fruitful season. It's

    been almost a week and I am finally, just now, starting to feel less numb about it.

    Empathy, brah.
    They got my test plant for a seed cross.
    Hard times bring out the worst in some and the best in others.
    So, for the "some"bitses, one must take steps.
    So;
    [attachment=o227615]

    Actually, the big girl was ripped from the cage.
    I've turned my OCD loose on an alarm design.
    Using a proximity detector car alarm.
    Have hooked the horn beeper to a relay that drives an electric cattle fence charger. The entire cage pulses HOT!
    If they go home and get mommies rubber gloves. There are shock/motion detectors hanging in the branches that trigger the siren.
    Why so elaborate?
    Well, some things are worth protecting.

    Yah?

    Aloha, brah
    I know how you feel.

    This thread reminds me just how much some people suck. I've been ripped off before, it sucked, I've had CAMP bulldoze a path through manzanita bushes to rip out my guerilla crop, I think somebody saw me hauling water in on that one. I'm especially sketchy this season, since it's my first grow at my current house, I just want the outdoor season to be over, so I can start my indoor grow.

    maybe do like my friends do.. and ill be doing next year.. when the plants start to get to the point were they are worth money... put a bed in the garden and sleep out there with a nice little shotgun by your side... noone that i know has been ripped off yet.. but then again they all sleep in there garden with guns at night.. along with other security measures...

    i built them all homebrew trail cameras.. like the kind in cabelas.. but i build these from scratch.. much better pics.. we also use motion sensor lighting.. use one with 2 outlets.. and in one of them put a light.. and in the other put a screw in deal with a plug.. and from that we run a cord to an alarm clock radio.. when the motion sensor is tripped it also turns on the clock radio wich is on full blast.. that way you can wake up ..

    very sorry for the loss..

    get some bear traps and set the tension up all the way place in all directions of a monster but one that you shouldnt never forget this will deter the bastards or at least take there leg for your plant... that is a equal trade in my mind
