Who Says there are withdrawls from Cannabis

I have been herb less for a couple days, since Friday. And no with drawls, no running around looking to clean pipes, I got a bunch of steams, and I am not ripping into it to smoke steams, or ripping into the ash trays. I am not breaking pipes for resin.

Now some one explain to me how you had with drawls when you stopped smoking herb. I will admit it sucks, I am used to smoking allot, like over an 1/8 a day, the week leading up to the dryness of my town, I was smoking hash and and purps, all day all night. and I have not had a break in about 10 years. so My tolerance is way up their, and I stopped like I had and then I didnt have, and I knew I was not gonna get any kind of with drawl, but some people in here try to say your gonna get head aches or, whatever.

I got none of that, in fact I feel exactly the same, I am just not baked. No head aches, no nothing, but the want to find a sack and rip my bong like any other day. But my town is dry and I know it will probably be a while till I score, and I still dont care, because I will smoke when I get some more. When ever that may be.

I know what a with drawl feels like, I was prescribed opiates for pain, for over 2 months, when I wised up and saw what they were doing. and I stopped cold then too, and it was awful for a month. I could not eat, I could not sleep, and I felt bad, achy sick horrible.

So their you go, their is no withdrawls, theirs wants and then there are needs. I need to eat, I need to breath. I want to smoke you see the difference their. like every other day I run or walk a little in the mornings, and now that I haven't smoked herb in a couple days, I do the same. you would not be able to do that if you were withdrawing.

so I call bullshit in the case of it gives you with drawls.

Maybe those "people's" headaches are stemming from somewhere else and the marijuana would just treat the symptom; when they stop smoking, it comes back. Then they wrongly think it is a symptom of marijuana withdrawals....

No physiological withdrawals from thc - but i can understand (and have experienced) psychological withdrawals.

Hello MadSativa,

While I too have never suffered withdrawl symptoms from stopping mj cold turkey, I do know people who have. So I'm not about to "CALL BULLSHIT" to someone who does suffer physical symptoms from stopping. Besides mj haveing a psychoactive compontent it also works on the physiology of the body, including such things as pain control and lowering blood pressures.

Stopping mj cold turkey for some people will mean an increase in pain or the raising of blood pressures which could lead to headaches, both of which are physical symptons of thier having stopped.

I grow mmj and provide it free thru a cancer group (people fighting the disease) and a hospice group (people who are dying) to help aleviate physical problems and even psychological problems associated with treatments and or dying. It has a wonderfull calming effect on many.

I think you need to have a little more compassion for people in general and you're fellow users in particular.

no to mention the mood altering affects. by this i mean using cannabis as opposed to benzo's. i turn into a dickhead for a couple of days when i don't get to smoke.......just ask my wife! she always tells me "you need to smoke some weed!"

I must say that I have never suffered from any withdrawls from weed but I know several that have like the mood thing is so very true..but I feel that you can have withdrawls from anything.:hippy:

I smoked about a quarter to a half a day during the summer.
Now back in school i have no connects, no money, and no weed.(some growing)

I have anger issues and i got along great with everyone. Now without weed im trying to make straight A's and im pissed alot. Its not withdraw for me it was habbit and that habbit was ritual. Whatever it is going cold turkey after months of binge sucks harder then never smoking at all.

My master plan is to have one huge monster grow over summer and store hash for years.

No problems with withdrawels here either. Went from having ALL that I wanted, when ever I wanted to the last mason jar. Thought for sure that after over half a year of an oz a week that I would have problems. There were none. Even though I do agree that there is a part of it that I missed as it did keep me emotionally feeling more stable, and physically helps me with other issues. After that decided to quit. Tried drinking wine instead. This upset my stomach and the next day I felt a little bit sick. A few months ago. A friend shared a clone with me, that I cloned and traded for another clone. Now I have ladies in waiting. Still not able to find any to toke but am waiting for a good harvest soon.

Well whenever I quit ..I get bad stomach pains for the first 3-4 days and I'm not very hungry.....not to mention I have alot less patients without my daily dose of weed
