I would never tell a cute girl to quit smokin herb, but you definately should consider cutting back. I know it sucks to think about, but everyone has to cut back once in a while. I think your best bet is to start out by NOT smoking before school, because that affects your grades and what not. Plus, few things are as rewarding as an after school smoke session. Think of a joint as your reward for dealing with 6 hours of bull shit.

If weed is your only way of dealing with reality, you might have a little bit of a problem. But I do think it's cool that you're honest with your mom about smoking, it's not cool to constantly lie to parents. She's only looking out for your own best interests. Believe me, my mom is the same way.

If you can cut back, you'll find your tolerance is lower, you'll have more energy, and you'll be saving money. (unless you grow your own).

Anyways that's my take, I'm only 20 years old so I'm still young and dumb, but I'm not as dumb as most 20 year olds.
