hi SAP,

Nice little setup you have-- it looks like you aren't going to use a resevoir... just the individual buckets. I had thought about individual buckets for my mothers, but I found it less maintenance to link them all and use a rez.

we both responded to deejays post about nutes and salts with the waterfarms.

you had said that you use the 3 part GH flora series and that they dont cause clogs( im not referring to the thick flora nova series). I just wanted to give you a little heads up if you are interested.

You see all the salt buildup (that white crud) around your drip rings? That clogs the holes on the drip rings, leaves that same buildup on your hydroton and in the roots, and worst of all can clog your feeder lines. You are barely into flowering and you can see it building up already. What i was saying to deejay is that if you use the AN nutes I was talking about-- that salt buildup doesnt happen like with the GH.

Maybe since your system is so small this isnt a pertinent issue to you, and i wish you good luck and heavy harvests

BTW- if i was only running 4 buckets and they werent linked id prolly throw an airstone in the bottom buckets too. With only 4 bucket sites that is only 1 pump and 4 airstones. cheap and easy as you are doing it, but not so cheap and easy when operating an increased number of buckets.

peace
dottoressaX Reviewed by dottoressaX on . Its been a while but here is my new 4 waterfarm grow. Hello all and yes I am finally back from being away for so long. I tried some dwc grows for a little bit but found them to not be as rewarding as my GH waterfarms. I had tried using advanced nutrients but decided to go back to GH's 3 part nutes. I had the best yields ever from their nutes and they are quite a bit easier to measure and mix. Anyhow here are some pics of my new grow. There are 2 seedlings and 2 clones. They are 2 sets of different plants. Lemme know what you think! SAP Rating: 5
