How to SAFELY buy seeds online?

Hi, I currently live in Dallas, Texas, and I want to know how to safelybuy seeds online. I know it is possible, but I am not sure how the whole process works. Is it legal? How do they ship it to you? Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated, and if anyone knows any reliable sites, could you please list some?

no, it's not legal in the united states. they mail you the beans. some places allow you to pay more for "stealth" service where they send them with a t-shirt of coffee mug and stuff like that.

No it's not legal but I've never heard of anyone getting arrested for buying seeds online. All I've heard of happening is a letter from customs, perhaps they'll ask you to claim the package (you say no) and that's that.

Obviously don't order seeds to your grow location.

As the others have said, no its not legal... but the safest way to order seeds is to get a disposable VISA card, order online using a seperate, secondary Yahoo e-mail account, and in the comments section of the order form, put "Discrete shipping please". Have them mailed to a PO Box.

My prefered seed bank is Rhino Seeds.

I have never had a problem with them, and have always gotten my order(s) within 5 - 7 working days. The seeds I have purchased from them have all been very good quality.

I would consider a private mail box service like mailboxes, etc. or something instead of a public post office, just to be a bit safer. i don't know if its more secure or not but i would hate to busted by the federal postal service. :twocents:
