Howdy HillbillyG,

You should wash yer hands with anti-bacterial soap, for at least 30 seconds, before handling your seeds. You should also wash all pots with either anti-bacterial soap or a bleach solution as well. The concern is,that you may have spores of damping-off fungi or root-rot fungi, hanging around..you should also wash the walls and keep the room clean and tidy. The soiless mix you use, should be fresh and sterile,as well. Dang..it all sounds kinda obsessive-compulsive..huh ? lol

Have a good one...
