Because the pharmaceutical companies have more influence in legislation than 'we the people.'

It's sickening for me to see events like this..I live in a small town and know several people who have such a hard time finding quality marijuana..then seeing places that do have laws allowing the use, but still expects them to go to the streets rather than a controlled business...only people that helps is the police department's budget..
