    SD Police raid?

On Weds. about 18 of the dispensaries in San Diego were raided by the SD Police. Most of them remain closed. Any one know what happened?

A real big mixed message. Cali's can vote on what ever they want BUT in the end the FED's are in control. It's on a federal level we should be trying to change, Local is easy. Ever here of the DRUG ZAR. We must eliminatate the appointed offical that makes drug policies for ALL.

An appointed offical tells you what you can and can not do. He only answer to the one that appointed him or her. What is wrong with that ?

This must be a MANDATE FROM THE PEOPLE.

In this case all should go after the one doing the appointing.

    True change comes from within.

you also have to take into consideration, the Feds said they will leave medical marijuana growers alone, that are ADHERING to their state's provisions :wtf: ... when you start overgrowing, and/or selling MJ, they will bust yer ass ... 'dispensaries' making hundreds of thousands of dollars, are going to be on their radar, simple as that ... I don't feel a bit sorry for the greedheads ... :smokin:

Supposedly these were all dispensaries that sold to undercover officers with fake recs, multiple times.

So bummed to find out...it was hard enough here in san diego to find any before the dispensaries opened. Luckily the 1 I go to didn't get raided. They have killer bud, I would have been heart broken. What bothers me is how the cops lie to get their 215 n then g on n bust people that verify there false condition...its all crap and shady tactics

that is San Diego. a lot of southern cal is VERY conservative, they call Orange County a little slice of Oklahoma because of all the American flags and general conservative attitudes there.

but, i am glad you mentioned that because this really drives home why the 2010 inititative may actually have a shot. There has been a legalization petition in California just about every election year since the late '60s but this one in 2010 is different.

This one will allow the counties and cities to decide if they want to legalize sales to adults or not, similar to wet and dry counties for alcohol that we have now in some states. (the author is a Texan ) This is different from prop 215, which i think required all counties and cities in California to legalize med use, which as we've seen, has been an ongoing battle in places like San Diego and Riverside Counties.

but, if its really true that leo is just going after the distributors that seem to be gang and/or organized crime related then maybe its a good thing, just kinda trimming the water leaves. :stoned:

The dispensaries need to institute a 21 and over policy or even higher 25 and over like car rental companies if they want to stay in business.

Unless almost all dispensaries and delivery outfits start doing some major self regulating the feds will continue to raid them. Also if they would cap the amount you can purchase a day to maybe 1/4 oz a day instead of jacking the price up so it "doesn't get resold" more patients benefit from their meds.
